At the Polideportivo José María Vargas in La Guaira, Venezuela, WBA bantamweight champion Anselmo "Chemito" Moreno stepped on the scale and weighed 118-pounds, and challenger, hometown fan favorite and interim-champ Nehomar Cermeno, was also 118-pounds.

 

In the co-feature, former super featherweight champion Jorge Linares will take his first fight since the knockout loss to Juan Carlos Salgado from last September. He weighed 130-pounds, while tough veteran Francisco Lorenzo weighed a pound under at 129-pounds.
