Osaka, Japan - WBA "regular" bantamweight champion Koki Kameda, and his challenger Daniel Diaz, topped the scales at the official ceremony held on Friday at the Hotel Nikko. Kameda, came in at a reported 117.9 pounds, while Diaz scored 117-pounds - both in their first attempt. This time there were no hars words exchanged as their battle will be held on Saturday night at the Prefectural Gym in Osaka. The WBA appointed an impartial referee in the ring: Mark Nelson (EU). And the judges will be Levi Martinez (USA), Dave Paris (England) and Tom Miller (EU). The fight will be broadcast in this country by TVS.

Also on the card, the youngest of the fighting Kameda brothers, Tomoki “Mexicanito” Kameda, will face Filipino boxer Nathan Bolcio.
