LOS ANGELES - The weights are in for Thursday's LA FIGHT CLUB fight card. The action-packed Los Angeles based series on FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes returns to The Belasco Theater this Thursday for another explosive night in a classic Puerto Rico vs. Mexico main event where Puerto Rico's Jayson "Star" Velez (22-0-1, 16 KOs) of Juncos, takes on Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico's Daniel "Huracan" Ramirez (11-1, 5 KOs), in a 10-round featherweight bout that is sure to excite fans.
Velez weighed in at 128-pounds, and Daniel Ramirez was 127.8-pounds.
Also, Oscar De La Hoya President and Founder of Golden Boy Promotions is scheduled to attend LA FIGHT CLUB and will host a special meet and greet at the Belasco Theater's ballroom prior to the televised bouts from 6:00 pm to 7:00 p.m.
The co-main televised event features Carlos "The Solution" Morales (7-1-3, 2 KOs) of Los Angeles taking on Emmanuel Gonzalez (14-1, 7 KOs) of the Bronx, New York in an eight-round super bantamweight bout. Opening the telecast, Los Angeles favorite Christian "Chimpa" Gonzalez (9-0, 9 KOs) will face Darryl Hayes (3-4, 1 KOs) of Houston in a six-round super featherweight fight. Westside Boxing Club's Rafael "El Alikin" Gramajo (3-1-1, 2 KOs) of Los Angeles is hoping to make airtime in a four-round super bantamweight fight against Pablo Cupul (4-16, 3 KOs) of Merida, Mexico.
