IBF flyweight world champion Javier Mendoza will defend his crown against official Filipino challenger Milan Melindo in Ensenada, Baja California, on a card being promoted by Zanfer Promotions with Azteca 7, the House of Boxing. Mendoza (23-2-1, 19 KO's) vs. Melindo (32-1-0, 12 KO's) will be the main event of the "Mexico vs. Philippines " card at the Riviera Hotel Casino Ensenada.
