A total of 11 fights will take to the ring of Ruben Rodriguez, who will present a boxing event of a global nature for the second time in 2010.

"We are very excited about this event, which we hope will be a sellout. We support our people and the champions like Rocky and Vázquez, so we bring back a program of this magnitude at Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum, always with the support of the Municipality of Bayamón and honorable Mayor Ramon Luis Rivera," said promoter Ivan Rivera, president of PRBBP in a press conference held at the Ruben Rodriguez Coliseum.

Vazquez Jr. (18-0-1, 15 KOs), super bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Organization (WBO), who will defend his belt before the Hungarian Zsolt Bedak (15-0 and five knockouts) , who is the mandatory for the 122-pound belt. It will be the first defense of Vazquez Jr., who won the belt on the 27th of February when he knocked out in the fourth, Filipino Marvin Sonsona.

"We are prepared to defend the title and look good for my people. That's what we intend to do. Our training is the best, working with my dad (Wilfredo Vazquez) and my whole team, "said Vazquez Jr., who had no amateur experience as a fighter and made history along his father by becoming the only father and son pair who have reigned worldwide as champions in the same weight. "I know Bedak is disregarding me because of my inexperience in boxing, but I know that I trained really hard to keep this title."

Bedak, meanwhile, is an Olympic fighter who trained by former world lightweight champion of the WBO Artur Grigorian.

"Our training has been strong and have come to take the title," Bedak said through an interpreter. "We come to put on a great show and come home with the victory."

Martinez, who is 23-0-1 with 14 knockouts, who will defend his WBO junior lightweight for the second time in the co-feature, against Nicaraguan Gonzalo Mungía. Martinez won the 130-pound title of the WBO in March 2009 by knocking out Britain's Nicky Cook in England. His first defense was in September of that year also knocking the Colombian Feider Viloria in Bayamon.

"I'm in tremendous shape and I want to defend the title again. We are prepared for what my opponent brings, "said Martinez. "Mungía has been talking a lot, but once you get in the ring, that's when everything is made clear."

Another shock story will take to the stage that night, when for the first time in Puerto Rico, two females to climb into the ring to contest for a world title. Hanna Gabriel of Costa Rica (9-0-1 and five knockouts), will face Dominican Gardy Pena (9-1-2 and six knockouts) for the WBO middleweight title. This fight is agreed upon for 10 rounds.

Also, the Olympic brothers return, McJoe and McWilliams Arroyo will have their third fights. McWilliams (2-0, two KOs) will face Mexico Samuel Gutierrez (5-6-1) in a four round super flyweight bout, while his twin McJoe (2-0 with one KO) will face American Robert Guillen ( 5-7-3 and a knockout) in the bantamweight bout scheduled for four rounds.

The program will be transmitted through the system of "Pay Per View" at a cost of $ 39.95 for all cable systems and satellite TV in Puerto Rico and internationally. The first fight of the night will rise at 6:30 pm with the opening television broadcast at 9:00 pm
