Former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek (45-2, 28KOs) is healing nicely. The Polish star is quickly recovering from a left hand injury, which he suffered during last Saturday's lopsided ten round decision over Nagy Aguilera at the Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn, New York.
Adamek went through several treatments at the Beth Israel Hand Surgery Center in Manhattan. The tests did not show a serious injury. Adamek is scheduled to return on June 16th at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
"The swelling on my hand is going down every day. Fortunately, I did not break any bones in my hand. As of now everything is going according to plan and I should be back in training within a couple of weeks," Adamek said.
