Monterrey, Mexico - After the successful tour of seven cities in Mexico, the impressive Tecate Boxing Tour finally came to the city of Monterrey and will be starting today in the parking lot adjacent to the Monterrey baseball stadium will be open to the public full from October 1 to 17, in which attendees can interact with boxing and also witness boxing functions with high-quality fighting. The organizing committee released the details of the event which includes four professional boxing card, two of them headed by world-class boxers such as world champion flyweight, Julio Cesar "Pingo" Miranda and the world ranked Francisco "Panchito" Arce. The boxing evenings will be presented by Zanfer and Tecate.

In a packed press conference in the spectacular facilities of the Tecate Boxing Tour organizers, Francisco "Panchito" Arce, Julio Cesar "Pingo" Miranda, Alejandro Brito of Zanfer Promotions, Miguel Vargas, who is president of the Professional Boxing Commission in Monterrey and a representative of Boxing Academy, were all present.

The Tecate Girls, beautiful hostesses at the scene accompanied the presidium in an open invitation to fans to attend the same which starts today and ends on the 17th of this month of October.

The invitation of the organizing committee was open to the public to attend to learn about the world of boxing by the hotspot to experience the adrenaline that runs through the veins with simulated boxing or learning the basic techniques of boxing with the bags, and mitts found in Boxing Tecate Tour.

CONFERENCE

During the question session, Francisco "Panchito" Arce recalled his fight in 2005 against Julio Grimaldo at the Arena Monterrey where he managed to appeal to people with a knockout in the fourth round.

"I come well prepared to give a great fight and come out with hands up, I've had a fight in Monterrey and was one of the best, now I come with the idea of conquering the title" he said.

For his part, world champion flyweight, Julio Cesar Miranda, admitted feeling excited about fighting again before his people and defending his world WBO title.

Miranda will defend his world championship against Colombian Arango Michel on the 16th of October with capacity of 2000 people and Francisco "Panchito" Arce will fight on the 9th against Isidro 'Chino' Garcia for the bantamweight championship of the NABF.

In addition, the second round of the Azteca Championships will take place on October 13 in Monterrey.
