Miami, FL: Promoter Tuto Zabala, Jr., All Star Boxing, Inc, Pugilistic Promotions and Deportes Telemundo announced today in a Press Conference the return of the popular series “Boxeo Telemundo Ford”, to the City of Miami on Friday, June 24, 2011 where they will present a spectacular show at the Miami Dade County Auditorium which is celebrating its 60th Anniversary with a double Championship double header.

In the main event WBO Latin Jr. Welterweight Champion Jesus Pabon (17-1-11 KO’s) of Carolina, Puerto Rico will defend his title against former WBA International Champion Javier “El Zorro” Castro (24-4-19 KO’s) in a battle schedule for 12 Rounds.

The co feature will pit unbeaten former Amateur World Champion Sullivan Barrera (7-0-5 KO’s) of Guantanamo, Cuba who will face Frank Paines (11-1-10 KO’s) of St. Marteen via Colombia in a fight schedule for 10 Rounds with the vacant WBO Latino and WBA FEDELATIN Light heavyweight titles.

Also slated to appear on the card are 18 year old super bantamweight prospect Hairon “El Maja” Socarras (2-0-2 KO’s) of Habana, Cuba, unbeaten Jr. Welter Felix Mercedes (11-0-9 KO’s and middleweight prospect Carlos Linares (8-1-7 KO’s) of Venezuela brother of former WBA Champion Jorge Linares amongst others. Their opponents as well as the rest of the card will be announced shortly.
