On Wednesday morning in Kissimmee Florida, the warriors of the main event of the card being organized by Félix “Tutico’ Zavala - “The Path Continues” - met face to face in the ring. Boricua Orlando “The Phenomenon” Cruz and the Mexican boxer Aalan Martínez were both present at the open workout. Cruz will be defending the WBO featherweight Latin title against Martinez in The Civic Center of Kissimmee.

“We do not have anything to worry about with Martínez's height. We have been working on sparring with young boxers who have his characteristics and we are ready to continue our ascent towards the big fights in this class," said Cruz

“We are happy for the support that we have received not only in Puerto Rico, but for the messages on the social networks and that pushes us to be in shape and offer boxing fans another big war that Mexicans and Boricuas have whenever we are in the ring together.”

For his part, the young Martínez said - "we have come in excellent physical condition and we are very well trained. We know about Cruz's quality and we are been confident to get another victory to locate a better ranking at featherweight and to snatch the WBO Latin title from Cruz.”
