While a Manny Pacquiao fight is hanging overhead, Floyd Mayweather Jr. was nearly involved in a brawl over the weekend at the opening of Vanity nightclub in Las Vegas. The BoxingScene.com readership are fully aware of the ongoing feud between Mayweather and well-known rapper Rick Ross. Both of them and their camps were present at the opening that was hosted by Diddy.
There are conflicted stories on who started it, but several sources at the party say the situation began to get heated when one of the two men bumped the other. Once that happened, their entourages immediately became "confrontational." Diddy had to get involved and calmed both sides down before the situation got out of hand.
TMZ reached out to the older Mayweather, Floyd Sr., who told them the beef has been going on for some time because Ross continues to "talk sh*t" about his son. Ross has blasted Mayweather in several of his songs.
