The interim junior welterweight world champion of the WBA, Argentinean Marcos "El Chino" Maidana will expose black and gold crown on Saturday when he faces former U.S. world champion DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley in the Luna Park Stadium of Buenos Aires.

Both fighters were face to face during a promotional press conference in the Hall Lavalle of Buenos Aires stadium.

Maidana (28-1, 27 KOs) will make the third defense of his belt, but the first against a former world champion.

The experienced Corley (37-13-1, 22 KOs) was world champion as the WBO super lightweight champ between June 2001 and July 2003, when he was dethroned by "Super" Zab Judah. After he unsuccessfully challenged Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto (for the WBO title) and then he faced Junior Witter for the vacant WBC crown. He also faced Floyd Mayweather Jr., Devon Alexander, Jose Alfaro and others in the division.
