LAREDO, Texas – World ranked Jessie Magdaleno of Las Vegas and up and two-time Mexican Olimpian Oscar Valdez of Nogales, Sonora, Mexico are getting in some last minute work in Laredo, Texas for their bouts this Saturday night at the Laredo Energy Center that will be telecast by Unimas in the “Solo Boxeo Tecate” series at 11:00 p.m. (East/Pacific). Magdaleno (20-0, 15 KOs) will take on John Mark Apolinario (18-5-3, 5 KOs) of the Philippines in the main event schedule for eight rounds in the super bantamweight division. Valdez (15-0, 13 KOs) will take on the roughed Jose Ramirez (25-5-3, 15 KOs) of Mazatlan, Mexico in an eight round featherweight bout.
