WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko, and former champion Ricky Hatton, and top heavyweight contender Manuel Charr were among the fighters to get honored before a packed crowd at the WBC's ongoing annual convention, which this year is taking place in Bangkok, Thailand. For first time in the history of the World Boxing Council, Jose Sulaiman - recovering from a major surgery - was not present at the organization's convention. The convention is being led by the Executive Secretary of the WBC, Mauricio Sulaiman.

When a man enters the door of a plane sideways, he's going to Bangkok.
When a man brings a stewardess to an airport hotel during a three hour layover, he's going to Phuket.
