At the MCH Messecenter in Herning, Denmark, Mikkel Kessler (43-2, 32KOs) won a twelve round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Carl Froch (26-1, 20KOs) , to win the WBC super middleweight title. The scores were 117-111, 115-113, 116-112. Quick shots of the war from Wire Image Media.

Froch using his crisp jab often to keep Kessler back. Kessler came forward often while Froch was looking for opening to counter with punches.
Kessler goes down in the fifth. The referee waved it off as a slip. Multiple replays showed there were no landed punches and Kessler slipped going backwards.
Froch coming on with a fast pace in the championship rounds as Kessler starts to slow down.
