Latin Sports, the leading Hispanic Sports Promotions and Management Company in the US, is pleased to announce that former WBO and WBA Flyweight Champion, Juan Francisco “El Gallo” Estrada (34-2, 24 KOs), is scheduled to fight Colombian boxer Anuar Salas (20-3, 12 KOs) in a 12-round fight for the vacant WBC Silver Super Flyweight Title, this Saturday, March 11th, 2017 at the Arena Ciudad de México (Mexico City Arena).
Estrada, is known as a ferocious power-punching fighter with an incredible sense of timing, and he has proven himself with WBO/WBA titles which he has both won and defended successfully.
Estrada is one of the most versatile boxers who constantly adapts himself to his competitor’s tactics, rendering him a force to be reckoned with in the ring. Anuar Salas has put together six consecutive victories and is a formidable competitor.
Juan “El Gallo” Estrada officially vacated his World Boxing Organization and World Boxing Association flyweight titles so he can move up in weight to 115 pounds and pursue who many feel is the #1 Pound-for-Pound boxer in the world, Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez.
