FRESNO - With over 10,000 fans expected on Saturday night USA Olympian Jose Ramirez said today "this is a my biggest fight" at a press conference. Ramirez, 15-0, 12 KOs, will take on Johnny Garcia, 19-3-1, 11 KOs, of Holland, Michigan for the vacant WBC Continental Americas super lightweight belt on a Top Rank event titled 'Fight For Water 5' at the Save Mart Arena. "It's been my dream to fight at the Save Mart Arena, the biggest arena in Fresno and Top 10 in the United States," Ramirez said. "We are having our biggest crowd so I will give it my all. I am sure Johnny Garcia feels the same way. All of this is very exciting."
Garcia said he spotted Ramirez at the famous Wild Card Gym in Hollywood two years ago.
"I was there working with trainer Eric Brown. I saw Jose who was with Freddie Roach but we never spoke. Little did I know we would someday be fighting on such a big card."

The card will be televised by Solo Boxeo Tecate on UniMas. The telecast will begin 9 pm pacific.
