Jonathan Oquendo (21-2, 14 KOs) blew away late replacement Adolfo Landeros (21-20-1, 10 KOs) in the very first round of a super bantamweight bout after landing a big combination of punches. Oquendo continues to inch forward in the WBO ratings, on his way to a crack at the champion Jorge Arce of Mexico.
Hot super flyweight prospect Jonathan Gonzalez (3-0, 3 KOs) stopped Ivan Moxey (2-4, 1 KO) in the second round of action. Gonzalez in his third bout since making his pro debut on April 1st of this year. He was set to fight on the Manny Pacquiao-Shane Mosley card on May 7th, but the opponent fell out at the last moment and no replacement was secured in time.
