OBREGON CITY, MEXICO - Addressing fans, among them adults and children, who came together at the popular Fitness Plan, east of this city in the Yaqui Valley, the triple World champion Jorge "Travieso" Arce conducted a public training session for his fight against Cecilio "Boga" Santos on April 24 at the Multipurpose Center in this city.
Arce (53-6-1, 40 KOs) and Santos (23-13-3, 14 KOs) are the main event of telecast being show on the series "Top Rank Live" which airs on Fox Sports in the United States and on TV Azteca in Mexico.
"I'm excited to fight live for my people, especially those in Obregón, who for years they were wanting a fight here. Great fans and especially knowledgeable in boxing. I assure you they will not be disappointed this Saturday," Arce said.
Arce has a fight lined up against Eric Morel on June 26 on the Julio Cesar Chavez Jr.-John Duddy undercard on June 26 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
During the workout, Arce did four rounds on the mitts, jumped rope and even did 300 situps.
"I feel great after training for 6 weeks and you will see a spectacular Travieso. After I win this Saturday, you will see me go for a fourth world championship," said Arce.
