At Estadio 20 de Noviembre in Campeche, Campeche, Mexico, former world champion Jorge Arce (56-6-2, 43 KOs) stopped Adolfo Ramos (16-11-1, 10 KOs) in the first round of their super bantamweight clash. Arce caught Ramos with a right hand early on and then finished him off soon after.
Ramon Garcia (15-1-1, 8 KOs) retained the WBO interim-junior-flyweight title with a dominating twelve round unanimous decision over Omar Soto (15-7-1, 6 KOs). The scores were 120-106, 119-107 and 118-108. Soto went down in the fourth and again in the tenth.
In another match, the legend's son, Omar "Businessman" Chavez (21-0-1 18KOs) stopped Ignasi Caballero (5-3, 5KOs) in two rounds.
