Calderon (34-0-1 and six KOs), former champion of the WBO at 105 pounds, will present his belt for the seventh time at108 pounds against Segura, a strong puncher with a record of 24-1 and 20 knockouts.

During the weigh-in on Friday at the Wilfredo Gomez Gym in Guaynabo, Calderon scored 116 ½ pounds of a maximum of 124.2 pounds, which is required the Boxing Commission of Puerto Rico (PRBBP).

 "We are working hard to give another great show and keep my title. Regarding the weight, I think we are well, doing the job as it should be lower, "said Calderon, who trained for the media, doing floor exercises, shadows, hitting the sack, and jumping rope in the company of his coach José "Cheche" Sanchez.

Segura also weighed in at his training center in California and marked, according to his team, 113 pounds, which is 11 below the pre-fight requirement.
