A look inside the Mayweather Boxing Club as IBF junior middleweight champion Ishe Smith (25-5, 11 KO's) prepares for the first defense of his belt against Chicago's Carlos Molina (21-5-2, 6 KO's).
Smith vs. Molina takes place on July 19th in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and there will surely be attractive opportunities awaiting the winner.
Despite scoring a dramatic majority-decision over Cornelius Bundrage this past February, Smith actually began this camp a little bit early.
"The desire to keep my title," Smith would explain. "I didn't want to get ahead of myself. I didn't want to fall victim of partying and celebrating too long. Right after Floyd did his thing, we broke camp a little early."
