Former multi-division champion Humberto "Zorrita" Soto (62-8-2, 35KOs) is getting closer to the date of his return, on March 22nd at his birthplace of Los Mochis, Sinaloa, where he'll face Dominican Juan Carlos Abreu (16-0-1, 15KOs). The two fighters had their first face to face encounter during their respective open workouts for the public. Humberto Soto is keeping his sights firmly focused on the WBC super lightweight world title where he is currently and prominently ranked. Also on the card is tough Mexican slugger Hugo Ruiz.
