Today the IBO announced that the bout will also be for the vacant IBO world middleweight title.

We are happy to have been able to save these two title fights from the cancelled Klitschko vs. Mormeck show. I am sure it is going to be a unique event and a very special atmosphere for the boxing fans.”
The co-feature of this K2 Promotions event will be Isa Akberbayev vs Armin Dollinger. Akberbayev weighed in at 89.5 kg (197.3 lbs), Dollinger will step on the scale tomorrow morning.
