The second of August is a specific day for the Russian Armed Forces. It’s when airborne troopers, the most elite and prestigious military division in Russian Army, which is well-known for a sheer courage and toughness of its units, celebrate their birthday. This year, it is the 81st anniversary – a big date for all of those who has served both up in the sky and knee-deep on the ground.
WBO #1 cruiserweight contender Denis Lebedev (22-1, 17 KOs) is no stranger to the armed forces and he is a big friend to all of the local militaries. On Aug. 2, Lebedev, who is now campaigning for a fight against Antonio Tarver, visited one of local units to greet soldiers and to congratulate them on their professional holiday.
