WBC super flyweight champion Carlos “Principe” Cuadras (32-01, 25KOs), and his upcoming challenger Dixon Flores (11-2-2), met face to face at the final press conference for their upcoming clash this coming Saturday night at the Baseball Park Alberto Vega Chavez, in Guamuchil, Sinaloa.
This past Saturday night, both boxers passed the pre-weighin, required by the WBC, in observance with carefully formulated health and safety protocols. The champion tipped at 122-pounds on the scales, while his rival Flores was a little lighter at 118-pounds.
This will be the fourth defense of Cuadras' world title. He made defenses against Jose Salgado, Marvin Mabait and Luis Concepcion.
The fight with former WBA world champion Concepcion took place in April, with a twelve round unanimous decision victory in Metepec, Mexico.
