With their bouts quickly approaching, the IBF world champion at super middleweight, Lucian Bute, and his aspiring mandatory challenger Jesse Brinkley of America, met at the Hotel Place d'Armes on Rue St-Jacques for a final press conference to hype their bout on Oct. 15 at the Bell Centre. Additionally, light heavyweight Adrian Diaconu and his opponent Omar Sheika were present.
The duel between Bute and Brinkley, as well as Diaconu vs. Sheika and several others on the card, will be presented in over 15 countries including the United States, Israel, Australia, and of course, Romania. The two main fights will in turn be broadcast live via ESPN3 then rebroadcast on ESPN on October 17. Of course, La Cage aux Sports will broadcast all of the fights live that evening in Canada.
