Miami, Florida - Amir "King" Khan is spending a few days in Miami, Florida. The English star his the gym of his former trainer, Jorge Rubio of Cuba, and the two of them did several exercises together.
"Jorge is part of my family, we remain in constant communication and since I'm here, I came to greet him and reminisce. I like this gym, here you breathe boxing and I think all of these guys here with Rubio warranty training at the best level," Khan said. "I'm happy to be here. When I train with Jorge I feel we have a great connection. This is something we do because Rubio and I are friends and have fun together "
Jorge Rubio said "Amir is a great guy, very talented and I know you very soon he will be among the best in their weight. We are good friends and enjoyed working this afternoon in the ring. It was fun to be there with Amir, we both really enjoyed it, it's always good to see people that you appreciate."
Khan is scheduled to fight on December 6 against an opponent to be determined.
