Two of Cuba's bext, WBA super bantamweight interim-champion Guillermo “The Jackal” Rigondeaux, and the former IBF and WBA featherweight champion Yuriorkis “El Ciclon de Guantanamo” Gamboa, teamed up for a training session at The Heavyweight Factory GYM in Hollywood, Fla.

Both warriors training did not spar, but trained side by side. Rigondeaux held a final sparring session against his countryman Hairon “El Maja” Socarras. Rigo is soon scheduled to  board a flight to Las Vegas to face WBA Champion Rico “Suavecito” Ramos on January 20th in a Showtime televised card.

In an unprecedented moment, the two Cubans posed for a photo. Rigondeaux and Gamboa are two of the most talented boxers in the game. Gamboa showed his support to Rigondeaux while “The Jackal” was sparring with Socarras.

“Is important to me, for fighters such as Gamboa, Socarras, Herrera and all of these guys who come here to help me in this training camp” told us Rigondeaux.

“I’m ready to fight right now. I can’t wait to get in the ring and get the title from Ramos” add “The Jackal” Rigondeaux.

On Saturday January 14th, Rigondeaux will be hold his final sparring session in Florida.
