The weights are in and both fighters are ready to collide on Wednesday night for the IBO featherweight title. The big event was put together by Promociones del Pueblo to celebrate Mexican Independence Day at the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas. Former champion Jhonny Gonzalez (45-7, 39KOs) will face tough Jackson Asiku (26-3, 14KOs) in the main event. Gonzalez came in ready at 126.5-pounds. Asiku came in a pound under the division limit at 125-pounds. Gonzalez has an hour to lose the half a pound. Gonzalez would return to make 125.6.
