WBC bantamweight champion Shinsuke Yamanaka (21-0-2, 16KOs) and his Thai challenger Suriyan Sor Rungvisai (37-5-1, 16KOs) underwent a battery of exacting medical tests at the Grand Palace Hotel in Tokyo, which confirms they're fit as fleas and fighting fit! The fight takes place this Wednesday, at the A Yoyogi #2 Gymnasium, and both boxers readily complied with and fulfilled all of the medical tests required  by the Japanese Comission.

Both champion and challenger are vowing this contest of fists complimented by a battle of wills isn't destined to go the distance!

The WBC bantamweight champion pledged: “I'm in such good shape for this fight, well trained, and I'm going to KO my opponent.“

Suriyan Sor Rungvisai who's been sizing up Yamanaka, for his venture into the big time, grandly retorted: “I don’t care that I'm smaller than the champion. I'm going to be the first to defeat him by KO. The WBC championship is going back home to Thailand with me!
