Former two division world champion Ricardo Mayorga (28-8-1, 23KOs) arrived in Las Vegas, where he plans to live for a few weeks and train hard for his upcoming return to the ring. Mayorga has been inactive since a March 2011 TKO defeat to Puerto Rican star Miguel Cotto. Mayorga then began a career in Mixed Martial Arts, but never found success and finally walked away from MMA after a 0-3-1 record. Now at age 40, he wants to have one final title run. Mayorga is reportedly no longer interested in facing Dmitry Chudinov after the WBA took away the interim-belt from the Russian fighter.
