Mike Oliver, with manager/advisor Sammy Vega by his side, signs a contract to face WBO featherweight world champion Orlando "Siri" Salido on July 23 in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora. Salido (35-11-1, 23 KOs) vs. Oliver (24-2-0, 8 KOs) takes place at the Multipurpose Center in Ciudad Obregon and the show will be transmitted by TV Azteca and Fox Sports. Top Rank and Zanfer will co-promote the card.

Anybody even have a clue what he's making for $$$$$$$....I can,t see it being more than $15k which is a lot down there and where it is down there...

Mike Oliver has been under the radar for many years, he has good ability and speed, this may be his "big" opportunity to shine especially against the guy who just beat Juan Ma. Mike Oliver will be in good hands (John Scully is in his corner).
I give Oliver a great chance to out-box, out-move salido.
