Two of the hottest prospects in the game, the Peterson brothers, kept their win streaks alive at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi
Lightweight Anthony Peterson (22-0, 16 KOs) pounded out an easy fourth round knockout of Juan Humberto Garza (28-3, 23 KOs). Peterson was beating Garza to the punch with ease, and unloading an assortment of punches before a right hand ended the bout.
The lighter puncher of the two brothers, junior welterweight Lamont Peterson (20-0, 8 KOs), boxed his way to an eight round unanimous decision over Joaquin Gallardo (17-6-1, 5 KOs). The scores were 80-72, 80-74 and 80-72, all for Peterson.
The card was televised on ESPN's Friday Night Fights.
