In his third ring appearance of the year, super middleweight contender Peter Manfredo Jr. (31-5, 16 KOs) picked up an impressive win when he stopped Donny McCrary (24-8-2, 13 KOs) in two-rounds at the Twin Rivers Events Center in Lincoln, R.I.

“I feel like I can be in there with anybody and everybody at this weight (168). I’m enjoying boxing now. I’ve put the Lacy fight behind me. I blew that one. We wanted to get this fight out of the way first and now I’ll be calling out a lot of people. I’d love to get Biko if the offer is right. If I have to fight guys like Froch or Pascal to get a world title fight I will. I kept hitting this guy with rights and then got him with the big left. I knew he was going to come out and bang with me but I’m too sharp for him. I kind of got robbed of the knockout, but I’m glad he didn’t get hurt,” Manfredo said.

In the co-feature, Joey Spina (23-1-1, 16 KOs) stopped Jim Strohl (27-7, 21 KOs) in two-rounds.
