Heavyweight prospect Peter Kadiru remains undefeated.

The 23-year-old Hamburg-based boxer improved to 8-0 (4 KOs) with a third-round technical stoppage over Eugen Buchmueller on the Agit Kabayel-Evgenios Lazaridis main event from Seebühne Elbauenpark in Magdeburg, Germany (ESPN+).

Citing an injury to the right shoulder, Buchmueller (16-6, 13 KOs) refused to come out of his corner after the end of the third round.

It was a breezy fight, nonetheless, for Kadiru. He used his superior length and size to keep Buchmueller on the end of his punches.

After a uneventful opening round, Kadiru kicked it up a notch. In the second round, he landed a nice-looking straight right that briefly shook Buchmueller. Moments later, Kadiru followed up by landing his best punch of the fight, a right hand counter off the backfoot as Buchmueller was barreling forward recklessly.

During that exchange, Buchmueller must’ve pulled a muscle throwing a punch, as he began grimacing at his right shoulder shortly thereafter. He then took a knee, forcing the referee to momentarily pause the fight. After a doctor came up to the ring apron, the fight continued. It was all downhill from there for Buchmueller.

In the third round, Kadiru landed a slew of straight rights that had Buchmueller tottering around the canvas. By the end, Buchmueller looked completely discouraged. Back in his corner, he shook his head as the referee waved off the fight.
