Mexican super middleweight prospect Marco Antonio Periban will return to the ring on March 31 in Cancun against an opponent to be determined, according to his manager Rolando Arellano.

Arellano also mentioned that the bout would be televised by Fox Deportes and Mexican network Televisa.

Periban (16-0, 10 KOs) is coming off a unanimous decision win over previously unbeaten Jesus Angel Nerio in January.  Based out of Mexico City, he first gained notoriety with American fight fans 15 months ago for stopping the usually sturdy Darnell Boone in one round.
