Mexico City, Mexico:Boxeo Telemundo Ford and All Star Boxing, Inc summer series will conclude this Friday, August 7, 2015 at their new home the Blackberry Auditorium in Mexico City, Mexico.
In the main event another “Civil War” when WBO #8 WBC and WBA #9 bantamweight contender and former WBO Champion Alejandro “Payasito” Hernandez (29-11-2-15KO’s) of Mexico City, Mexico will face fellow countryman Humberto “Chato” Morales (14-11-4-8 KO’s) of Cancun, Mexico in a bout schedule for 12 Rounds for the vacant Jr. Featherweight Mexican Title.
Hernandez, 29, won the WBO interim title in June of last year beating Daniel “Bad Boy” Rosas by decision and in November dropped a split decision to then Champion Tomoki Kameda. He bounced back with a decision win over Martin Casilla on the Boxeo Telemundo spring series and captured the WBC Latin title. Morales, 25, on the other hand is coming off a highly disputed draw with world ranked contender Edgar “Power” Jimenez last February and has not tasted defeat in his last 7 outings.
