As previously reported, a rematch between WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik (32-0, 29KOs) and former champion Jermain Taylor (27-1-1, 17KOs), has to take place before the end of February (non-title at a catch-weight of 166-pounds).

Several sources have informed BoxingScene.com that Pavlik-Taylor II is more than likely to land on HBO pay-per-view. The current working date is Feb. 16 with a Las Vegas venue in the running. If Wladimir Klitschko's defense of the heavyweight title is moved from the reserved date of Feb. 23, the rematch could head back to an East Coast venue, possibly in Atlantic City or even New York's Madison Square Garden.
