Estonia - In a heated local encounter between two of the best Estonian professional boxers, the more experienced Pavel Semjonov (17-4-2, 7 KOs) got the better of well-known kickboxer Mirkko Moisar (5-2, 3 KOs) with a close decision in conclusion of eight grudge rounds.
Moisar was fighting Semjonov for the second time. A year ago he did his best but suffered a one-sided loss to Semjonov, clearly the best local fighter, who has never been stopped despite fighting some tough continental opponents. This time Moisar did considerably better but he lacked that finesse that distinguishes a pro boxer and makes a difference in comparison with another martial art's specialists. Both combatants winged freely, and Moisar had his chances too but his effort, while still very proud, wasn't enough to out-tough Semjonov.
The latter has clearly lost only to 29-1-2 Italian Danielle Petrucci and gave tough fights to 16-0-1 former Olympian Sherzod Husanov (a majority decision loss) and Spaniards Aitor Nieto (16-3 - a close unanimous decision) and Sergio Garcia (16-0). He is not finished yet, not even by a mile.

Former Finnish middleweight Timo Laine (13-6, 2 KOs) scored his second career knockout in a one-sided beatdown of very incapable Latvian Eduards Gerassimovs (6-8-1, 6 KOs) in two rounds.
Numbers can lie, and it is exactly a case of Gerassimovs, a 20-year old fighter who scored all his wins at home against fighters with zero wins in total. However, the Latvian managed to achiev a certain feat by surviving the very first round ,as his previous five losses were within an opening round. Laine dropped Gerassimovs with a right hand and with a liver shot in the first round, then three times in the second - via a right hand, another liver shot and yet another right bomb. Time of stoppage was approximately 1:39 of the second round.

Debuting middleweight Fedor Vinogradov (1-0) showed poise and desire in a solid first win against Russian Sergey Martirosyan (2-2, 1 KO) over four rounds with a unanimous decision. Martirosyan hasn't been down in this fight but he has lost it fair and square, which has been clearly seen on his face
