Paul Williams, who on November 20 in Atlantic City will take part in a rematch with Argentina's Sergio 'Maravilla' Martinez, is interested in hiring the services of former WBO welterweight champion, Carlos "El Indio" Quintana, who is still the only fighter to Beat Williams as a pro. Williams won the rematch by first round knockout. According to reports, the fighter known as 'The Punisher' wants Quintana, who is left handed, to help him in sparring sessions and is willing to pay a considerable sum of money.
That night, the 160-pound crown of the WBC, owned by Martínez, will be at stake. In Martinez's first encounter with Williams, he appeared to have won the fight but the judges appreciated the work of Williams and gave him the victory by way of majority decision.
