Swedish welterweight prospect Patrick Bogere outscored Romanian journeyman Ionel Trandafir Ilie in the main event of Saturday's Rumble of the King´s show in Stockholm, Sweden. The three official judges scored it 60-54, 60-54 and 59-55. Ilie covered up well and gave Bogere, now 8-1, a lot of work.
 
In Copenhagen on a pro-am show Friday night, three Danes turned pro with two wins and a draw as the result.
 
Cruiserweight Mortens Fruengaards got a knockout win when Latvian Valerijs Gubins injured his arm during an exchange in the second round, fell down to his knees and was counted out.
 
Kasper Fruensgaard, the bigger of the two twins, made a mess of his debut but looked like the winner against Aleksandr Dunecs after four rounds of messy boxing but it was ruled a draw.
 
Jr. middleweight Taus Grotner won a majority decision over Danny Mitcallef, based in Scotland but from Malta. Grotner did well in the first, then tired but had enough left to secure a win.
