This afternoon Pat McCormack and Miguel Parra both weighed in inside the welterweight limit ahead of their WBA title eliminator on Saturday in Sunderland.

McCormack, the home favourite, tipped the scales at a weight of 146.95 lbs, while Parra, from Mexico, registered a weight of 146.3 lbs. They fight on Saturday over 10 rounds. 

Elsewhere on the card, Mark Dickinson failed to make the super-middleweight limit for his English title fight against Troy Williamson. Dickinson, the champion, weighed 173.2 lbs for the fight – some five pounds over the 168lb limit – whereas Williamson, the challenger, was 167.6 lbs. Only Williamson can now leave with the belt.
