Former champion Jean Pascal is making headlines all over the Canadian press, but not for the reasons he would like. Less than two weeks removed from his historic domestic win over Lucian Bute, the Canadian superstar's name is now being mentioned in an ongoing investigation.

According to multiple sources in Canada, the local authorities are investigating a sexual assault allegation, which has led them to the home of Pascal. Police have obtained a warrant and conducted a search of the boxer's home in Lorraine, located on the north shore of Montreal.

Most of the details are unknown regarding the allegation, although it has been revealed the woman is 25-years-old and claims to have been partying, along with a dozen other people, at Pascal's residence.

Based on the early information, there is nothing that suggests Pascal is a suspect or directly involved in the actual attack.

But investigators from Thérèse-De Blainville are planning to meet with Pascal for an interview, when the boxer returns from his travels.
