Joseph Parker is convinced he can knock out Anthony Joshua or beat his heavily favored opponent on points.

The undefeated Parker exuded a quiet confidence Tuesday during a final press conference to promote their heavyweight title unification fight Saturday night in Cardiff, Wales. England’s Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs) is an approximate 8-1 favorite entering their 12-round championship match for Joshua’s IBF, IBO and WBA titles and Parker’s WBO crown.

“I’m gonna beat him,” Parker said during the press conference. “I haven’t decided how I wanna beat him yet. I don’t know if it’s a knockout or it’s points or a decision. I’ll see how I feel on fight night.”

Parker, 26, hasn’t recorded a knockout in any of his three WBO title fights since December 2016. Nevertheless, New Zealand’s Parker (24-0, 18 KOs) added that he’s “a hundred percent” sure he’ll upset the 6-feet-6, 250-pound Joshua and leave the ring at Principality Stadium with four heavyweight titles.

Parker’s trainer, Kevin Barry, seconded Parker’s prediction. Barry also emphasized that Parker was able to train better for the biggest fight of his 5½-year pro career because he had surgery performed on both of his elbows in December, all while negotiations continued for a fight that’ll draw a capacity crowd in excess of 78,000.

“It’s great to be here,” Parker said. “We’ve had a great buildup to this megafight. We’ve had a tremendous camp. We’ve had some great sparring sessions. Had a lot of pain, but we enjoyed it, we loved it and we embraced it. I’m looking forward to putting on the best display March 31.

“I’m looking forward to putting on the best Joseph Parker there is. I feel ready, I feel confident, I feel sharp. My movement is better than ever. You know, I’m taking those belts back to New Zealand and Samoa.”

Joshua-Parker will be broadcast by Sky Sports Box Office in the United Kingdom (6 p.m. GMT; £19.95). Showtime will air it live in the United States (5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT).
