As previously reported, Mexicali's welterweight contender Jorge Paez Jr. will face Ronald Montes of Colombia on Saturday night in Ocozocoautla, Chiapas. He will headline a Zanfer Promotions card that will air on Azteca 7, La Casa del Boxing. Páez (37-5-2, 22 KO's) and Montes (16-1, 14 KO's) will clash at the Municipal Auditorium.
It has now been confirmed that Paez-Montes will also get TV coverage on UniMas as part of the Solo Boxeo Tecate series (11PM EST, 10PM CST, 11PST).
Paez returns after two difficult fights in 2014, where has upset by Vivian Harris in March and then fought to a six round technical decision with Aaron "La Joya" Herrera in October. Montes is returning after suffering a decision loss to Ramses Agaton from last September and that fight also took place in Mexico.
