Jinkee Pacquiao, the charming wife of Filipino ring idol Manny Pacquiao didn’t want her husband to fight Oscar De La Hoya just yet but since Pacquiao made the decision she said “we will support him all the way.”
In an exclusive interview with insidesports.ph, Manila Standard and Viva Sports, Jinkee who is expecting their fourth child sometime in December said “De La Hoya is much bigger than him and I told him is it possible for you to fight someone else first and not De La Hoya this time.”
But Pacquiao’s wife said he made the decision and she “had no choice" pointing out that Pacquiao "knows what he can do and what he cannot do and he knows what he wants." Jinkee added, “I know he can make it and he is confident he can win and we will support him all the way.”
When told that a lady from the Dominican Republic who asked Pacquiao to pose for a photo with her on his arrival at the Mactan airport on the same flight, had asked Pacquiao to beat De La Hoya but not smash his handsome face Jinkee laughed and agreed that many people support “The Golden Boy” because he is good looking.
She added, “sorry if he is knocked out” by Manny.
Jinkee said that while their fourth child, reportedly a girl was “unexpected” she regarded the addition to their two sons and little daughter “a blessing.”
She also felt that the birth of their first daughter Mary Grace changed her husband’s lifestyle in many ways and “brought our family closer together.” Jinkee said she planned to leave for the US in the second week of October.
At the same time she said their three children were all doing well.
