During the big bash to celebrate his 32nd birthday, which took place in General Santos City in the Philippines, WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao wished Floyd Mayweather Jr. well, stating that he hopes Mayweather could quickly settle his legal issues and return to the ring.

"He’s facing so many problems. I hope he solves them soon so he could go back to the ring," Pacquiao said during a TV Patrol interview on Friday.

It was reported on Thursday that Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Tony Abbatangelo reinstated an arrest warrant for Mayweather on a misdemeanor battery complaint for poking a security officer in the face during a parking ticket dispute. Mayweather has another ongoing court battle where he's facing domestic-battery charges for allegedly beating up the mother of his children, Josie Harris, during a confrontation in September.

Pacquiao wants to face Mayweather, but the fight is on the shelf due to the ongoing legal issues of Floyd. The Filipino star will return to action on May 7 in Las Vegas, likely against "Sugar" Shane Mosley.
