Former two-time world champion Manny Pacquiao will appear for a press conference promoting his September 10th fight on August 11 in Los Angeles, California.
Pacquiao, who remains in the Philippines for a several-day initial training period, will discuss his upcoming fight against Mexico’s tough Hector Velasquez.
American Shelly Finkel, who manages Pacquiao, and chief trainer Freddie Roach will be with the power-punching Filipino ring idol in the press conference that Top Rank Promotions has organized.
On the other hand, Velasquez is expected to be with his fellow Mexican manager Fernando Beltran on the press briefing.
Pacquiao and Velasquez were both absent during the first press conference Top Rank had called several days ago in Beverly Hills, California.
The card on Sept. 10 dubbed "Double Trouble", features former 3-time world champ Erik Morales, also of Mexico, taking on Zahir Raheem, the former USA Olympian from Philadelphia.
American lawyer Keith Davidson, who arrived in the country Tuesday (not Freddie Roach as revealed by Pacquiao's movie director Tony Bernal), will accompany Pacquiao to the trip to Los Angeles.
