MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Hundreds of fans turned out to support welterweights Manny Pacquiao and Shane Mosley, as both boxers made their grand arrivals to the MGM Grand for this Saturday's anticipated fight on Showtime Pay-Per-View. The atmosphere was wild with very loud chants of "Manny, Manny" but there were plenty of Mosley fans in the house to support the underdog.
Scott Ghertner, Director of Public Relations for the MGM Grand, advised BoxingScene.com that Tuesday's crowd was the largest "grand arrivals gathering" since Floyd Mayweather Jr. fought Shane Mosley a year ago.
"In terms of the crowd size, the last fight I can compare it to was when Floyd Mayweather Jr. was here with Shane Mosley," Ghertner told BoxingScene.com.
