Manny Pacquiao wanted 60-40 and then 55-45. Ricky Hatton wanted 50-50. Top Rank head, Bob Arum, was reaching for 52-48. After everything was said and done, Pacquiao has reportedly agreed to a modified 52-48 split. Arum, according to some reports, had to reach into his own pocket and offer a higher guarantee in order to close the deal with Manny. Pacquiao-Hatton goes forward on May 2 in Las Vegas.

Arum told BoxingScene.com's veteran scribe Ronnie Nathanielsz that Pacquiao is expected to sign off on the contract by the end of the week and begin the media tour on Monday.

“We are just waiting for him to sign the contracts and forward a copy to my office,” Arum said.
